Question about tesa Powerbond ULTRA STRONG double-sided mounting tape
Can the adhesive tape also be applied to windows (e.g. for shelf brackets)? And can the adhesive tape be removed afterwards without leaving any residue?

You can certainly also attach it to window surfaces. But I wouldn't do it if it weighs several kilos. . As far as I know, window glass cannot withstand high weight on the surface. If, for example, a plexiglass or acrylic only has a low weight, perhaps. The adhesive tape can be removed with a warm hairdryer and then any traces of adhesive removed with alcohol or glass cleaner.
