Hi Oliver, we only replaced our old system, so we didn't need any adapters etc.. We have the Intex Frame Graphite pool with 17,000 litres. The pump is great! I mean 35 or 25 kilos, we used filter sand. Otherwise I would contact Intex directly. They have a good service. Best regards

The Krystal Clear sand filter system from Intex is not officially certified for Bestway pools. Whether it works on the Steel Pro depends on the connection sizes and the compatibility of the fastening systems - I do not have any specific manufacturer information on this. Important notes: - Connection compatibility: Check whether the hose diameter and connection type (e.g. Quick-Connect) are compatible with the Bestway pool. - Performance: The pump filters 6,000 l/h and is designed for pools up to 36,000 l - suitable for many Steel Pro models (e.g. 16' x 48" ≈ 27,000 l). - Manufacturer's note: Bestway usually recommends its own filter pumps so as not to jeopardise warranty claims. The following could be the case: Dirt is so fine that it passes through the sand. Then you would have to add flocculant. It binds the finest turbid substances into larger lumps so that they can be caught by the sand. However, you need extremely fine turbid matter for the sand to no longer work.
Bigger is certainly better. More power. I would recommend a pool vacuum cleaner. Only a landing net is not enough.

If the power is interrupted, the pump will NOT start automatically. So it does not work with a timer.
According to our information, this is the 26646 model. Unfortunately it is sold out though.
Is this pump compatible with salt water? I would like to combine both and am sinking in the pump sea

I used this pump last year with the Intex salt water system. Had no problems and always excellent water quality....
Hi, hoses are there, 38mm. if the pool is designed for 38mm, no problem, 32mm pools need adapters to connect.
It is not loud. We run it for 2 hours a day and you practically don't hear it.

Hello L×W×H = 55 cm × 50 cm × 61 cm without connection hose. If the connection hose also has to be in the box, I think that at B at least 20 cm must be added to avoid kinking the hose. If the hose is led out of the box by means of a hole cut-out, 50 cm is sufficient. If it is only to supply the system in winter, the hose is also dismantled and the 50 cm is also sufficient. Hello, Since the sand grains wear out after a certain time, filter sand must be changed after every season. Filter glass for the pool can be used at least twice as long. Changing the filter material is recommended after 4 to 10 years, depending on the manufacturer. It can be disposed of in normal household waste.
