Question about Intex Krystal Clear sand filter system
Can I operate this pump with an external timer? Since it only has a push button to turn it on and off, but no toggle switches, I wonder if I turn the power off and on again, whether the pump then runs (filters) straight away or whether you have to press the button every time.

If the power is interrupted, the pump will NOT start automatically. So it does not work with a timer.
I don't think it works like that, because if the pump has no power, the internal timer doesn't run. but I'm not completely sure. but you can also "switch in". that means, for example, if you have saved the pump every day at 10.00, you can also switch it on at 16.00. then it simply runs the next day at 16.00 too.
The pump has an internal timer; when it is started up, it "stores" when the pump was switched on and how long the operating time was.
Example: if the manual start-up was at 10.00 a.m. and the set operating time was 4 hours, then the pump will switch on again at 10.00 a.m. the next day and run for 4 hours.
