Fast lightweight shovel with stable blade and telescopic shaft for ski touring. With innovative materials, modern production methods and well thought-out recesses on the shovel blade, they ensure that the lightweight avalanche shovel is minimal in weight (440 g) without sacrificing stiffness. In the shovel shaft they use the high-quality aluminium 7075 T6, which is very light but at the same time extremely stable. In the blade they use the aluminium 6061 T6. Thanks to the telescopic shaft with quick release, the lightweight avalanche shovel can be adjusted quickly. In addition, it is suitable for both left and right-handed users thanks to the practical repositioning function. The pack-friendly shovel blade of the Shovel Pro Light is equipped with tread grooves so that the foot cannot slip off when digging. The sharp, tilt-resistant blade guarantees optimum performance. High sidewalls and a pronounced central web on the shovel blade provide the necessary stiffness of the lightweight avalanche shovel. Thanks to material cut-outs, the Shovel Pro Light is not only lighter, but is also suitable for building a rescue sled and for use as a snow anchor. It is also compatible with the Pro Alu III shaft and fits in all Ortovox backpacks.
