The viscous MyPoxy ArtCast has been specifically developed for thin layers and topcoats as a coating system. It is ideally suited for artworks such as resin art (pictures), for example, geode creations, wave technique, or dirty pour resin. It is also perfect for building and coating walls in aquariums and terrariums.
The resin is naturally clear and transparent but can be individually colored with alcohol inks or effect pigments. Stones and glass can also be cast into it.

Mixing ratio: 100:50 by weight (optional 100:60 for extra hardness) Working time: 25 min Recommended casting height: 4 mm Recommended casting temperature: 20 degrees Seals metal, wood, plastics, concrete Forms a clear, tack-free surface High impact resistance (Shore D 84) Cold curing, can be used from 10°C Surface protection, water barrier layer, osmosis protection Final strength after 7 days Optimum tempering cycles: 24h/23°C + 5h at 60°C Base for epoxy gelcoats, as first (fine) layer in negative moulds, therefore medium viscosity. With UV protection for longer durability: The system already contains UV protection agents that significantly reduce yellowing. For particularly high demands, the protection can be further improved by adding up to 4 % additional UV protection agent. Shelf life of at least 12 months when stored optimally (unopened). |
