Unlike many Chinese replicas, this battery can be charged in the original Makita charger DC18RA with a 9A charging current. Product features: up to 100% compatible with the original charger. Also chargeable with the AP chargers L1830MS, L2830MS, and L2430MS. Very good fit, almost like the original Makita battery. Lighter than comparable 18V NiMH or NiMH batteries.

The Makita Li-Ion battery BL-1830 consists of a total of 10 lithium-manganese cells (5S2P) inside the battery pack, has a battery voltage of 18.0 volts, and a battery capacity of up to 5.0 Ah. Makita primarily uses battery cells from Sony (mostly green cells). The original Makita battery has ventilation slots on the top for the charger, e.g., Makita DC18 RA. The batteries we offer can also be used safely with this charger despite the lack of ventilation slots.
