The built-in fan is powered by four batteries or a USB power source and is continuously adjustable via an LED-lit switch. The closed, perforated stainless steel charcoal container is positioned centrally inside the grill and requires only about 20% of the charcoal compared to a conventional grill. It is ignited using commercially available fire starter paste. The burning time varies between approximately 40 and 60 minutes, depending on the type of charcoal and fan setting.
