Loctite 262 is a general-purpose medium to high strength, thixotropic, methacrylate-based threadlocker. It achieves hand strength in 15 minutes on steel, 8 minutes on brass, and 180 minutes on stainless steel. It is ideal for applications where adhesive migration must be avoided at all costs and tolerates minor oily contamination from industrial oils. It is suitable for all threaded metal connections.
