The LANDMANN chimney starter has a large filling volume of approximately 3.6 liters (which corresponds to about 1.3-1.8 kg depending on the charcoal) and is made of durable, 0.6 mm thick steel. The safety handle is made of plastic, so it doesn't heat up quickly. It allows for easy filling and emptying and protects you reliably from heat and flying sparks, thanks to the heat shield.

And it's that simple: Crumple a piece of newspaper or similar into a ball, optionally add some dry leaves or small twigs on top, and finally add the charcoal.
