The Illbruck ME402 Butyl Tape Alu is a versatile adhesive tape characterized by its self-adhesive plastoelastic butyl rubber mass. It is coated on one side with a robust, tear-resistant plastic-aluminum composite film that offers high resistance to UV radiation and weather influences. This tape adheres without primer to a variety of substrates and is ideal for applications where a gas and water vapor diffusion-tight seal is required. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use and can be used to seal seams and overlaps as well as to repair weathered joints. With a width of 100 mm and a thickness of 0.7 mm, it provides an effective solution for sealing projects.
