Why should you use If You Care Fire Starters made from 100% biomass? The fire starters are made from FSC-certified wood and 100% non-GMO vegetable oil. These are 100% renewable resources and can therefore be stored alongside food without any issues.

No petroleum products: Some fire starters contain petroleum and/or paraffin wax. These are derived from petroleum and are thus based on fossil, non-renewable fuels.

Neutral CO2 emissions: Because If You Care Fire Starters are made from 100% biomass, the emissions during combustion are considered neutral. This is due to the fact that the CO2 produced during combustion is offset by the reduction of CO2 in the atmosphere. This reduction is achieved through the CO2 absorption of biomass plants during growth in photosynthesis. This aligns with the guidelines of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change of the UN Climate Council. The same does not apply to conventional fire starters made from petroleum-based materials, such as petroleum or paraffin wax. One pack contains 28 pieces and is sufficient for 7-9 ignitions.

Application: If You Care Fire Starters made from 100% biomass are suitable for:

  • Firewood fire pits
  • Charcoal grills
  • Tile stoves, wood stoves, or heating stoves
  • Campfires or fire pits

Instructions for use
If You Care firelighters are quick and easy to use when you want to make a fire with wood, coal or charcoal. Simply follow these steps. 1. break off the firelighter cubes. 2. place 3-4 cubes under the wood or over the charcoal. 3. light each firelighter on the broken side of the cube, the cubes will burn between 8 and 10 minutes (the first 5 minutes they produce the largest flame). Caution: Firelighters must be completely burnt before food is placed on the barbecue.
