The latest from Carbon Active on the market: the PowerBox. For easy installation, CarbonActive has integrated proven backward-curved radial fans into a compact metal box. This allows the fan to be easily incorporated into an existing ventilation system, optimizing the performance of your exhaust and supply air system.

EC fan including controller. The EC motor technology is now standard for fans and is largely demanded by customers for new installations due to its potential for energy savings. Essentially, a standard asynchronous motor (AC motor) differs from an electronically commutated motor (EC motor) by having a significantly better efficiency. This is particularly evident during partial load operation: the AC motor only reduces voltage while the frequency remains constant, causing the motor to enter a loss-prone slip operation. In contrast, the EC motor with electronic commutation runs synchronously, eliminating slip and thus preventing slip losses.
