Product details

Scotch 70 light gray, made of silicone rubber, is self-welding and self-cleaning. It has excellent tested values regarding tracking current and corrosion resistance, and is resistant to UV, ozone, and weather. It is very flexible and has superior winding properties. Scotch 70 is suitable for insulation on silicone cables, as core wrapping on terminations, and as insulation on outdoor equipment and transformers. It can withstand temperatures up to 180 °C, and at 20% elongation, it provides good homogeneous welding.
