For cable and electrical insulation: The white Scotch universal insulating tape is a self-adhesive PVC tape designed for the insulation and repair of electrical wires. It is the ideal insulating tape for power cables and other lines. Made from a particularly flexible PVC film with high stretchability, it perfectly adapts to uneven surfaces. It unwinds easily and adheres without requiring much pressure. In addition to electrical insulation, it can be used for securing loose cables, protecting stressed cable sheaths, or for color coding. The insulating tape reliably sticks at temperatures ranging from 0 °C to 90 °C. It is flame retardant and provides protection against electrical voltages up to 6,000 volts. The Scotch insulating tape is VDE tested and certified according to IEC standard 454-3-1. The packaging includes one roll of white insulating tape measuring 15 mm x 10 m.
