The Scotch glass fibre fabric tape 27 can withstand a breakdown voltage of 3,000 volts and, with a temperature resistance of up to 130 C, belongs to the insulating material class. It can therefore be used to insulate electrical components that emit a lot of heat and as a protective winding against heat radiation. Like all glass fibre tapes, it is particularly tear and abrasion resistant. This ensures long-lasting functionality even under heavy mechanical stress, such as in electric motors. Due to its elasticity, the insulating tape coated with a thermally insulating rubber adhesive adapts perfectly to different substrates. At the same time, the printable fabric structure ensures excellent absorption of resins and paints. SCOTCH27-12X20.
