The rubber rand makes the Vapor comfortable while also being highly abrasion-resistant, and a precisely fitting heel system relieves pressure on the Achilles tendon. The full-coverage Vibram® XS Edge rubber sole is grippy enough for friction climbing, provides excellent support even on small edges and holds, and offers great support for the foot muscles, especially on very long routes.
