The midsole features a continuous Flexan insert that supports the foot when standing on small footholds, and in combination with the moderately asymmetrical shape of the shoe and the medium downturn, it ensures perfect power transfer. The rubber rand makes the Vapor comfortable yet highly abrasion-resistant, and a precisely fitting heel system alleviates pressure on the Achilles tendon. The full-coverage Vibram® XS Edge rubber sole is grippy enough for friction climbing, provides excellent support even on small edges and holds, and simultaneously offers great support for the foot muscles, especially on very long routes.
