The vegan upper is made from several microfiber and suede pieces that are sewn together in a way that perfectly conforms to the foot without causing pressure points. The midfoot receives excellent support and edge stability through the Bi-Tension system. The midsole features a continuous Flexan insert that supports the foot when standing on small footholds and, in combination with the moderately asymmetrical shape of the shoe and the medium downturn, ensures perfect power transfer. The rubber rand makes the Vapor comfortable yet highly abrasion-resistant, and a precisely fitting heel system relieves pressure on the Achilles tendon. The full-coverage sole rubber Vibram® XS Edge is grippy enough for friction climbing, providing excellent support even on small edges and holds, while also offering great support for the foot muscles, especially on very long routes.
