Petzl Grigri+

The Grigri+ is a belay device with braking assistance designed for all climbers, whether indoors or outdoors. It is optimized for use with all single ropes, suitable for ropes with a diameter between 8.9 and 10.5 mm, and designed for intensive use. The lever mechanism allows for exceptional control of the braking effect during descent. The user can choose between two belaying modes: top rope or lead climbing. The "top rope belaying" mode and the anti-panic lever enhance comfort while belaying, making the Grigri+ particularly suitable for beginner climbers. The anti-panic lever activates the anti-panic function if the belayer pulls too hard on the lever, stopping the descent. It is suitable for sport and indoor climbing. The belayer keeps both hands on the rope. To catch a fall, the free end of the rope is firmly grasped with one hand. The installation on the rope is illustrated on the belay device. It has a long lifespan even with intensive use, thanks to the stainless steel reinforcement plate. The progressive regulation of the rope flow offers exceptional comfort during descent.
