This finishing is a thermal process that perfectly aligns the core and sheath yarns. Through a special heat treatment, the fibers in the rope relax and shrink out. This harmonizes the sliding properties of the yarns within the rope, making it supple and compact. This results in ropes that neither shrink back nor become stiff quickly.
