The AKU Superalp GTX is therefore the ideal shoe for hikes, such as the High Peaks of the Dolomites, as well as multi-day excursions in complete autonomy while carrying heavy loads on your back. In combination with the Internal Midsole System, the medium-density PU exoskeleton framework provides stability and protection. At the same time, the ultra-light polyurethane inner part offers shock absorption and pressure resistance. The exoskeleton technology of the sole is particularly well-suited for the Superalp GTX model. The midsole consists of an outer polyurethane skeleton that rises at the back to surround and protect the heel.

Der hochwertig verarbeitete Superalp GTX macht in weglosem, anspruchsvollem B/C-Gelände einen guten Job und bietet hier angenehmen Tragekomfort. Bei längeren Flachetappen wie beispielsweise Forstwegen rollt die relativ steife Sohle nicht so gut ab. Aber dafür ist der Schuh auch nicht gemacht.
Tolle und überraschende Kombi aus super belüftetem und flexiblem Oberschuh sowie ziemlich steifer, grober Sohle, Abrollen ist nur im Mittelfuß möglich, man geht trotzdem nicht wie ein Roboter! Leisten ist neutral bis breit, Anfänger mit schmalem Fuß konnten sich unsicher fühlen, obwohl der Halt stets super ist. Der tolle Schaft passte sich zudem jedem Fuß an. Heimlicher Redaktionsliebling!
