Product details
The Powell Peralta Dragon Formula Nano Cubic skateboard wheels are based on the Dragon Formula (DF) urethane blend with a hardness rating of 93A. This blend combines the cushioning properties of softer wheels on uneven surfaces with the glide and grip characteristics of harder wheels in the range of 99A to 101A. The rebound rate is about 18 to 20 percent higher than that of conventional hard wheels, minimizing speed loss in bowls, parks, and on uneven streets and sidewalks. The glide behavior and the grip-to-slide ratio are achieved through a specific material mix designed for high durability.
The Nano Cubic shape was developed in collaboration with Andy Anderson for use in street, park, and freestyle skating. The asymmetrical offset design optimizes the inner and outer sides for different obstacles. The wider outer edge protects the axle nuts and makes it easier to overcome curbs, walls, and gaps. Additionally, this construction allows for executing Coconut Wheelies. The inner edge provides more space for the axle and facilitates locking in and releasing during grinds on rails and other obstacles.
Outer side: Protects the axle nuts, increases width and stability, allows for Coconut Wheelies, and eases overcoming copings, curbs, and walls. Inner side: Frees up more area of the axle, allows for locking in during grinds on obstacles.
