The special shape and texture of the kibble encourages intense chewing. This mechanically cleans the teeth and reduces tartar formation. Sodium tripolyphosphates act as active ingredients to partially bind the calcium ions present in saliva, making them unavailable for tartar formation.
Double effect for ideal oral and dental hygiene. Cats often suffer from plaque or bad breath. The mineralization of plaque through the deposition of calcium from saliva leads to tartar formation.
