Violan Round Seat Cushion. For the first time, Metz Textil und Design breaks with its own tradition, but the company from Aschau am Inn does so for a good innovative reason and with a clear conscience: Instead of using genuine wool felt, Metz Textil und Design relies on Violan, a completely plant-based felt developed through years of meticulous work. The material feels just as high-quality as soft merino wool felt but is made from plant residues and wood fibers. As a seat pad, the felt is sewn in two layers with decorative stitching, allowing the cushion to be used on both sides. Equipped with a padded inner lining, the cushion has a good grip but can only be hand washed at 30°C. Its round shape allows this remarkable seat cushion to adapt to all chairs and stools.
