Violan Seat cushion

Violan Round Seat Cushion. For the first time, Metz Textil und Design breaks with its own tradition, but the company from Aschau am Inn does so for a good innovative reason and with a clear conscience: Instead of using real wool felt, Metz Textil und Design opts for Violan, a purely plant-based felt developed through years of experimentation. The material feels just as high-quality as soft Merino wool felt, but is made from plant residues and wood fibers. As a seat cushion, the felt is sewn in two layers with decorative stitching, allowing the cushion to be used on both sides. Equipped with a padded inner lining, the cushion has a nice grip but can only be hand washed at 30°C. Its round shape adapts to all chairs and stools.
