Violan Seat cushion

Violan round seat cushion. For the first time, Metz Textil & Design breaks with its own tradition – but the company from Aschau am Inn does this firstly for a good innovative reason and secondly with a clear conscience: Instead of using genuine wool felt, Metz Textil & Design opts for Violan, a purely plant-based felt developed through years of tinkering. The material feels just as high-quality as soft merino wool felt but is made from plant residues and wood fibers. As a seat cushion, the felt is sewn in two layers with decorative stitching, allowing the cushion to be used on both sides. Equipped with a padded inner lining, the cushion has a good grip but can only be cleaned by hand at 30 °C. Its round shape makes this remarkable seat cushion adaptable to all chairs and stools.
