Umage Asteria

Asteria LED Ceiling Light. Elegantly reaching for the stars: Soren Ravn Christensen designs a minimally styled ceiling lamp for the Danish brand Umage. Instead of mounting the flat, round shade directly against the ceiling, the Danish designer opts for a short suspension made of brass. This choice has two advantages: First, the light design appears more delicate at the ceiling despite its substantial size. Second, light from the integrated LEDs also radiates upwards towards the ceiling through a small opening. The frosted disc on the underside casts glare-free light downwards, and it is incredibly bright! In short, the Asteria LED ceiling light from Umage provides exceptionally pleasant lighting that illuminates a room broadly when centrally placed.
