Asteria LED Ceiling Light. Elegantly reaching for the stars: Soren Ravn Christensen designs not an extraordinary UFO for the Danish brand Umage, but a minimally designed ceiling lamp. Instead of mounting the flat, round shade directly to the ceiling, the Danish designer opts for a short suspension made of brass. This has two advantages: First, the lighting design appears more delicate at the ceiling despite its substantial size. Second, light from the integrated LEDs also shines towards the ceiling through a small opening. The stylish ceiling lamp casts glare-free light downwards through the frosted disc on the underside, and it is extremely bright! However, for those who prefer to change the lighting moods, whether needing bright light for crafting or dim evening light, the dimmable Asteria LED ceiling light from Umage can be installed with a standard phase-cut dimmer at the wall switch.
