Wood finish: spruce with a modern skid base in matte black lacquer. The wood is a natural product, and cracks and knots are intentional, making each bed unique. The unusual surface treatment gives the wood a vintage look, featuring a slightly rustic textured surface. The wood is limed, sanded black, and varnished with clear lacquer using solvent-free water-based varnish sourced from nearby sawmills in Bavaria, promoting sustainable cultivation.

Abrasion resistance: imitation leather > 100,000 abrasion cycles; textured fabric 30,000 abrasion cycles. Suitable for roll-up frames and slatted frames with fixed frames.

THERMO spruce is processed by steaming the wood with high heat and drying it simultaneously, completely without chemical additives, resulting in a 100% organic product that becomes much harder through the THERMO process.

Support slats for the slatted frame measure 2.5 x 2.5 cm and include a middle bar.
