Although the Taccia PMMA LED floor lamp is designed as a standing lamp for the floor, it can also be used as a table lamp. This designer floor lamp provides indirect light, but it can also create various light reflections. Its functionality is enhanced by a dimmer feature. The designer table lamp, created in 1962, stands 64.5 centimeters tall. The body is made of aluminum with a diameter of 19 centimeters, while the diffuser is made of transparent blown glass measuring 49.5 centimeters. To ensure the lamp can be perfectly integrated into any space, this model is available in various colors.

Design with Italian Joy of Life

The lamp was designed by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, who have made design history in Italy. From the mid-1940s to the early 1950s, the two worked with their brother Livio in a shared office, which he left in 1952. Characteristic of the Castiglioni's design is their extravagant shaping, while never losing sight of the functionality of the respective object. They have created pieces that immediately catch the viewer's attention.
