Hello amwstores I would never have tested such a setup. According to the data sheet, the hub can provide a maximum of 100W, consumes 15W in operation, making 85W. Your display requires 60W according to the description, leaving 25W. If this is still enough to power your laptop, it could work. But it is probably rather low. PS. My calculation does not necessarily have to be correct :) Greetings

I have just been able to check it and according to the specifications, it has USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports that enable 5Gbit/s data transfer. There is also a USB-C port for charging and power supply with PD up to 100W, where 15W is needed for the adapter and 85W is passed on to the host device. More detailed specifications can be found in the following manual: Manual As soon as transfer rates higher than 5Gbit/s are specified, this is a higher version. 5Gbit/s is USB 3.2 Gen1

Hello Fairdinkum It's a shame that you're having problems with the hub. What surprises me is that you have installed software or drivers. Unfortunately, I can't say whether this is necessary for Lenovo. With my Windows laptop from Asus, this was not necessary and the hub works perfectly without software/drivers. The hub also works on my MacBook Air M3 without any problems. I recommend that you contact digitec support. They will certainly help you :-) Best regards C.

I can't tell from your question what your exact setup is, e.g. which connection you use to listen to the music. I have often had such results with HDMI because the cable was too bad. If possible, try a good, shielded and expensive cable. If 4K data is transmitted through a cable that has too low a cross-section for the price and is poorly shielded, such an effect can occur. Also lay the HDMI as far away as possible from the power cable. Hope it helps.

This USB-C 5-port hub by digitec can be compatible with Samsung tablets, but there are some conditions to consider: - The Samsung tablet must have a USB-C port. - The USB-C port on the tablet should support the necessary features such as data transfer, external display connection, and possibly USB-C Power Delivery and DisplayPort Alt Mode if those features are required. Check your specific Samsung tablet model to ensure it supports these features, as compatibility can vary between different models.

The hub supports a resolution of up to 5120 x 1440 pixels via the HDMI connection, which fulfils the requirements of the Samsung G9 G63SC. However, it is important that the connected device and the graphics chip also support this resolution.

One USB-C port is the data transfer port and the other is the PD charging port. You can only use one port as a data port.

The Ethernet interface of the digitec USB-C 8-port hub works without additional driver software. It is compatible with current operating systems, including MacOS, and supports functions such as Wake-on-Lan, which indicates that it can also be operated under MacOS 14 without the need for special driver software.

You cannot power a DVD drive directly with the digitec USB-C 6-Port Hub if it is an external drive with high power requirements. The hub supports Power Delivery (PD) 2.0/3.0 up to 100 watts, but this only applies to the one specific USB-C port dedicated to Power Delivery. However, this is unlikely to be enough to power a DVD drive, which often requires more power. However, it is possible to connect the DVD drive via one of the USB-A ports if it has a separate power supply. However, without a separate power supply, the drive may not receive enough power to function properly.

Does the power delivery port support data?

The Power Delivery (PD) port on digitec's 6-port USB-C hub is primarily designed for charging and power supply, not data transfer. It does not support data transfer.
