Question about Digitec USB-C 8-port hub
I received the hub today and connected it. Connecting the screen directly to the laptop works. However, when I connect it via the hub, no input on the screen finds a signal. I connected the screen via an HDMI cable

I have the same port connected to my Mac book pro. Screen runs via hdmi without any problems!

I have an HP notebook.
The screen works directly connected to the laptop without any problems (input on the screen, screen and cable are OK).
However, when I move the screen from the laptop to the hub, the screen no longer works. In the screen settings and
in the Device Manager, the screen does not appear when it is plugged into the hub.

Possibly set the screen to "only display on 2" in "Settings". It works for me. I have an MS notebook, not a Mac
I have tested this with a MacBook Sonoma, Intel) on a Panasonic 4K TV as a screen, works perfectly. It has a short waiting time (approx. 3 seconds) until the Macbook switches over. No problem even with a Mac mini (Sonoma, M2) on the same Panasonic.
When connecting the hub, make sure that the USB-C is really fully plugged in, USB-C plugs can give the impression that they are in.
And of course be sure to check the HDMI cable, it may be the problem.
Otherwise exchange the unit, the HDMI output may be defective.
