QED Reference XLR 40 DIGITAL

At the heart of the development of the digital audio 40 cable was the aim to achieve minimal jitter. Variations in the timing of the digital signal directly affect sound quality. To address this, QED equipped the Reference Digital XLR 40 with a zinc-manganese ferrite shield that is not connected to the ground conductor, effectively absorbing high-frequency interference outside the audible range. Additionally, QED's unique three-conductor technology is utilized, which provides an extra conductor twisted together with the signal-carrying wires for ground return.
