Recipe for baby-soft feet: 60 seconds, a file and this secret weapon

Removing callouses in less than two minutes? I wouldn’t have thought it was possible, but this Swiss product can do it.
You may remember that I recommended Skin Republic’s Foot Peel anti-callous mask) here on Galaxus a few months ago. These fruit acid-enriched «socks» tackle stubborn callouses, but they require a lot of patience: two hours of application time, followed by a week of waiting until the callouses slowly peel off. I still really enjoy using the product, especially because I also appreciate the nourishing aspect of the mask.
Today, however, I’d like to recommend an instant alternative that we now finally have in our range.
When things have to happen at lightning speed
I’ve been using Swiss brand Lovaskin’s instant foot peel for years to rid my feet of rough patches when I don’t have time for a foot mask. It also contains AHAs and BHAs) in the form of fruit acids, and the effect is immediately visible – and impressive.
I prefer to apply a generous amount of the gooey gel from the pump bottle with a flat mini brush. This helps me get the product into the fine cracks on my heels and also keeps my hands clean. I don’t want them to peel. I leave it on for 60 seconds, then remove the dead skin cells with a smoothing file (not a plane), rinse my feet thoroughly and apply the cream. For severe callouses, you might need to apply it two or three times (preferably over several days).
It’s not cheap, so I only use it as an emergency miracle cure. The scrub’s made in Switzerland. Lovaskin confirmed that their product is also vegan and not tested on animals. Refill bottles are available.
Important notes
The product’s not suitable for diabetics, as it contains strong exfoliating acids and alcohol, which can cause irritation, micro-tears and infections on sensitive skin or areas with poor circulation. Also, don’t leave the scrub on for longer than five minutes.
It also contains carbomer, a soluble polymer that – although not classified as a microplastic as defined by the Federal Office for the Environment (FOEN) – is considered environmentally harmful by various sources. So, it’s advisable not to flush the exfoliating particles directly down the drain (as far as possible). You’re better off collecting them on an old newspaper or something similar and putting them in the bin.
At Galaxus, you’ll find over 120,000 beauty products – and more are on the way. That’s quite a range. And why I like to regularly share my favourites – from a selection of both novelties and classics.

As a massive Disney fan, I see the world through rose-tinted glasses. I worship series from the 90s and consider mermaids a religion. When I’m not dancing in glitter rain, I’m either hanging out at pyjama parties or sitting at my make-up table. P.S. I love you, bacon, garlic and onions.
