Popsicle recipe Vol. 2: Nutella

Ice lollies can be enjoyed in many variations. In this 5-part series, I present my favourite recipes. On the ice cream menu today: Nutella.
Are you one of those people who just can't get going without a portion of Nutella every day? And every now and then you treat yourself to a scoop straight from the jar without bread? Then this ice cream recipe was made for you.

For four popsicles you need:
- 1 dl milk
- 1 dl cream
- 1 ½ tbsp Nutella
- 4 ice cream moulds
- a few pistachios
- Wood sticks
- Aluminium foil

And this is how it's done:
Step 1: Heat the milk in a saucepan over a low heat and dissolve the Nutella in it.
Step 2: Whip the cream into whipped cream.
Step 3: Now add the Nutella milk to the whipped cream and mix again very briefly with a hand mixer to dissolve any lumps of cream.
Step 4: Spread a tiny bit of Nutella on the inside walls of the moulds and then fill them with the previously mixed Nutella, milk and cream mixture.
Step 4: Cut a piece of aluminium foil, fold it in half and cover the opening of the ice cream moulds with it. Then use a sharp knife to cut a slit in the foil over each opening, through which you can insert the stick.

Step 5: After five hours in the freezer, the ice cream should be ready to eat. A little tip on the side: To get them out more easily, you can simply hold the mould under warm water for a short time.
Step 6: If you like, you can garnish the ice cream with warmed Nutella and crushed pistachios at the end. But beware, time is running out and the ice cream will melt faster than you'd like. Unfortunately, due to the stress of taking photos, I didn't get round to savouring my creation myself, so here's my friend's professional feedback: Mhmmmm!

As a massive Disney fan, I see the world through rose-tinted glasses. I worship series from the 90s and consider mermaids a religion. When I’m not dancing in glitter rain, I’m either hanging out at pyjama parties or sitting at my make-up table. P.S. I love you, bacon, garlic and onions.
