Furniture range expanded by 4,000 items: home24 joins the Galaxus marketplace

Galaxus has welcomed home24 as a further marketplace merchant. For the online furniture retailer, it’s the first partnership of its kind in Switzerland. The collaboration is boosting the Galaxus range by around 4,000 products – from sofas to sideboards.
Shopping for furniture makes most people think of large showrooms and a hard-earned hot dog afterwards. Galaxus wants to change that. That’s why the online retailer is expanding its furniture range. Newly added merchant home24 is adding around 4,000 products to the Galaxus marketplace. It’s the first time home24 is entering a collaboration of this kind in Switzerland.
The expanded offering includes everything from sofas and sofa beds to bathroom cabinets and mirrors, as well as desks and shelves.
Both sides benefit from the partnership. home24 has been selling furniture online for many years and is now bringing that experience to the Galaxus marketplace. By getting on board at Galaxus, the furniture shop can now reach a wider audience. At the same time, Galaxus is kicking it up a notch in the furniture market. «As many people as possible should think of Galaxus first when they’re buying furniture,» says Simon Glauser, who’s in charge of managing Galaxus’s furniture partners.
