If I were to shop in the menswear range, I’d buy these pieces

Skinny guys are often envied for their metabolism and what they can shovel into themselves. But when it comes to outfits, they have to hold back on the (fabric) mass so as not to look lanky. Cheat with these 6 tricks.
Have you heard the term "leek"? It's a term used to describe men who are lanky. After I published a buying guide for muscular men, an anonymous user wrote to me asking what was wrong with skinny guys. His colleague would like to know how he should style himself to look like more. As I am not indifferent to the concerns of our users, his wish is my command. Dear friend of Anonymous, dear users, in the next few lines you will find out how skinny men can make themselves look more powerful with the right clothes. [[image:20477724]]
If you have a slim build, horizontal stripes in all variations work wonders. The horizontal lines make your chest and shoulders look wider. Beware: vertical stripes have the opposite effect as they make you look longer. Large, two-dimensional patterns will also enhance your silhouette. You can achieve the same effect with light colours such as white, yellow or light grey.
In addition to the print and colour of your top, you can also go wrong with the fabric: Your skinny body will stand out under thin materials. Instead, prioritise coarse or thick fabrics such as denim, knitwear, linen, neoprene or "hard" cotton. If you have to wear a suit every day for work, a double-breasted jacket is a good choice as it makes you look wider than single-breasted styles. Slim-fit trousers are the best choice at the bottom. This free trick will make your arms look thicker in no time: Roll up the sleeves of your shirts and shirts that are already hanging in your wardrobe. You can also achieve the same effect on your legs by rolling up your jeans, as they visually compress them. Alternatively, buy your trousers too long (not too big) so that they crease above the foot.
Hiding your body with a "tent" is never a good solution, as loose-fitting clothing doesn't solve your figure problem in the slightest, but emphasises it. They either make you look even wider or thinner, as in the latter case the fabric will flare out around your legs. If you want to avoid this, I would advise you to wear figure-hugging trousers, such as skinny jeans, because you won't sink into them. If you're reluctant to do this, at least make sure that your favourite cut is close-fitting, but in such a way that you still have freedom of movement. Now casually roll up the hem (see point above). That's it. [[product:9771354,9705687,9161845]]
Say goodbye to tone-on-tone outfits. Instead, go for eye-catching contrasts. By contrasting the colour of your top with your trousers, you will appear smaller and automatically wider. If you still don't want to miss out on the monochrome look, break the link between your upper and lower body with an eye-catching belt.
The right accessories not only make for a great eye-catcher, but also distract from the essentials: In this case, your stature. The more eye-catching, the better. You can achieve this with bright colours. A watch with a wide strap also makes your arm look less slender. When it comes to shoes, the high-top version is the trump card. High-top styles are currently in fashion and make your legs look chunkier. [[product:6919603,10682089,2754351]]
