My favourite kind of fashion trend has just made a comeback – they’re super comfortable and equally stylish. I’d like to introduce you to: the balloon trousers. They get their name from the deliberately wide-cut leg, which tapers into a snug hem. The majority have pleats or a gathered waistband to further emphasise the voluminous silhouette. These fabric pants have a look somewhat reminiscent of barrel-leg jeans, but are usually made of airier, lighter fabrics, making them ideal for spring and summer.

More comfort without compromising on style
The trousers’ loose design is comfortable and super easy to move in – even more so if they have an elastic waistband. Sometimes they also come with an elasticated hem which is practical because it secures the trousers at your ankles, so the fabric doesn’t drag on the ground.
