7 long wool coats for timeless autumn and winter looks

The sad thing about autumn and winter is that the days get shorter. The great thing, on the other hand, is that our coats get longer, making it easy to look stylish. After all, if you slip on a classic wool or wool blend coat in maxi length, you’re sure to look good no matter what you’re wearing underneath it. With their timeless appeal, long wool coats get you through cold temperatures as well as changing trends. The only tricky thing is finding the right one.
To get you started, here are my seven recommendations:
1. Cosy and elegant
This coat impresses with its wide, flowing cut and fluffy texture in a grey melange look – perfect for that cosy-chic look.
2. Calm and checked
Thanks to the muted colours, this coat boasts an understated, elegant checked pattern look. Great detail – you can wear it with an open lapel or buttoned-up high collar.

Red is the classic bright colour that never goes out of fashion, making this a great choice for an eye-catching and timeless coat.

This coat boasts a wonderful herringbone fabric – probably the most subtle of all patterns. The straps on the wide sleeves are a nice detail.
