7 long trousers that won’t make you sweat

High temperatures don’t mean you have to give up long trousers. Here’s a selection of light and airy options from our women’s range.

1. Linen

Let’s start with a classic: linen trousers. The material has a cooling effect and can absorb a lot of moisture without feeling wet. This model, for example, has an airy, loose cut and is made of 100 per cent linen. The classic waistband-zipper combo is also suitable for more serious looks. With an elastic waist, on the other hand, your look will be more casual.

2. Satin

Satin trousers look elegant and feel nice and cool on the skin due to their smooth and soft surface. These lightweight pants
also exude a summery Mediterranean flair thanks to their terracotta colour.

3. Jeans lookalikes

Denim isn’t ideal in high temperatures as the dense, heavy material traps heat. Lightweight lookalikes made of cotton, linen and lyocell, like the one below, are a great alternative to the classic.

4. Pleated trousers

With their wide, airy cut, pleated pants are made for warmer months. In addition, their stretchy pleated structure not only offers maximum freedom of movement, but also adds an exciting texture to the outfit.

5. Seersucker

Thanks to its structure, so-called seersucker fabric stimulates air circulation – and is largely wrinkle-resistant. The colour range of pastel yellow, orange and pistachio green as well as the scalloped surface of these wide-leg pants just scream summertime.

6. Parachute pants

These voluminous sweatpants from the 80s have been back for a few seasons now, given the ongoing athleisure hype. Thanks to the super light nylon material and generous cut, these trousers are comfortable to wear even in high temperatures.

7. Summer knits

Comfortably soft and unbeatable air permeability, we end on coarse knit trousers. The playful look of knitwear and crochet is also particularly trendy right now.

Don’t shop in the women’s section? No problem – here are seven suggestions from the men’s range.
