7 lip liners I swear by

Today, I’m giving contour pencils the recognition they finally deserve. In my opinion, some of them are worthy of a lot of praise. Here are my favourite lip liners.

These liners are reliable

Anastasia Beverly Hills – Lip liner
The brand may have become famous for its eyebrow products, but its wooden lip liners have nothing to hide either. The slightly waxy pencil contains plenty of pigment, while the square design stops the liner from rolling off the table.

Makeup by Mario – Ultra Suede Sculpting Lip Pencil
A soft, velvety finish that lasts. Make-up artist Mario Dedivanovic has created the perfect liner for his brand. It includes a brush at the end of the pencil for blending and a super sharpener hidden in the cardboard packaging. So hidden, in fact, I almost threw mine away because I didn’t notice it. Small problem: we don’t stock this product.

Mac – Lip Pencil
There’s a reason why Mac’s liners are still recommended through and through to this day. In terms of wax, they’re on the harder side, but that’s not a bad thing. The product also contains vitamin E, which is said to have an antioxidant effect.

Maybelline – Lifter Liner
A highly pigmented lifter liner in a soft wax glides over your lip contour without pressure. The pencils are enriched with hyaluronic acid and jojoba oil.

Charlotte Tilbury – Lip Cheat Re-Shape & Re-Size Lip Liner
What would my list be without one of the most iconic lip liners of all time? I’m talking about Charlotte Tilbury’s Lip Cheat liners. The «Iconic Nude» shade in particular has received a lot of love from the beauty community because it’s flattering on many skin tones.

Essence – 8h Matte Comfort Lip Liner
Matt yet smooth – Essence’s lip pencil is easy to twist out and it has a built-in sharpener, which you can pull out at the back.

Is your favourite missing from my list? Drop it in the comments!

As a massive Disney fan, I see the world through rose-tinted glasses. I worship series from the 90s and consider mermaids a religion. When I’m not dancing in glitter rain, I’m either hanging out at pyjama parties or sitting at my make-up table. P.S. I love you, bacon, garlic and onions.
