Beauty sets that make great gifts for your loved ones (or yourself – the better option if you ask me)

Beauty sets are popular Christmas gifts. Although I neither give nor receive them nowadays, I still buy many beauty sets. What do I do with them? Read on to find out.
A while ago, my loved ones and I decided we don’t need presents. This saves us from having to endure that stressful shopping marathon just before Christmas. Best decision ever. Ironically, I’ve been buying more gift sets than ever since.
Yes to sets, but not as Christmas presents
Sure, a set is a safe choice. But you could also do what I do – keep them. After all, gift sets usually contain several (mini) products at a special price. For me, that’s the perfect opportunity to try out new brands or products I previously found too pricey. Christmas sets by my favourite beauty brands often contain products I know and love, making them ideal gifts for guests or birthdays. Split the contents of the set as you wish, wrap it up and ta-da, you have a great gift. Theoretically, you could even share the contents and cost of a set with friends if your preferences match. Or you could fill a DIY calendar with products from a gift set. There you go. Sets are great, not just as Christmas presents.
Here’s a small collection of sets that have piqued my interest.

As a massive Disney fan, I see the world through rose-tinted glasses. I worship series from the 90s and consider mermaids a religion. When I’m not dancing in glitter rain, I’m either hanging out at pyjama parties or sitting at my make-up table. P.S. I love you, bacon, garlic and onions.
