1, 2, 3 cool atmosphere in the bedroom
Let's be clear from the outset: I love a steamy bedroom, but not when it's hot. To bring a breath of fresh air into this room, a few tips are all you need.
1. Stone and metal
It's best to choose a material that doesn't give off heat. In this room, wood can easily give way to furniture and accessories made of cement or concrete elements, materials that are intended to be aesthetically pleasing and cold to the touch. Marble is the noblest rock you can find. In any interior, this timeless material will look great. As with all other stones, it's easy to care for - just wipe with a damp cloth. Metal details, such as chrome steel, aren't just reserved for the kitchen and bathroom, they give the bedroom a little touch of freshness.

2. Colour
The walls can be painted in a cameo of grey and enhanced with blue and green objects, for example. The watchword here? Cool colours! You immediately get the impression that the temperature has dropped a degree or two. Avoid bright or warm colours like red and opt for softer pastel shades. Black and white bring a coldness to spaces.

3. Textiles
Natural fibres such as linen and cotton are a good choice. These coarse knits, linen in particular, allow air to pass through, making them popular materials in summer. Why not swap your skin rug for one made of natural fibres or plastic, which store less heat than wool?
