I thought Galaxus was about providing the best webshop, not keeping people on your platform for as long as possible? Since Galaxus automatically "expands" every search query without asking, I can't find anything anymore. Example: I search for "mirror cabinet organizer". Galaxus automatically expands the search and then I have more mirror cabinets than "mirror cabinet organizers" in the search results. 178 search results, of which 143 are mirror cabinets. I want organizers for the mirror cabinet, not a mirror cabinet! Then I go to Google, type in "mirror cabinet organizer Galaxus" and immediately find 9 items on Galaxus that are exactly what I'm looking for. Galaxus has completely destroyed its own search function with this "feature". I've complained about it several times, always get a lot of support from other Galaxus customers, but am ignored by Galaxus itself. So far, the most I've gotten from Galaxus was an apology from a nice employee who can neither help nor change anything. Or here's another example: type "ventilation hose 125mm" into Galaxus, and you'll find all ventilation accessories that exist, in all sizes, not just 125mm. And because several hundred items are simply all together in the "ventilation accessories" category, you can't filter by "ventilation hose" or "diameter 125mm" either. And because the search is always automatically expanded, it makes no difference whether you search for "ventilation hose", "ventilation pipe", "ventilation duct"; the search is always expanded; the results are always the same. @Galaxus; What were you thinking with the expanded search? Seriously? Have you even tried it??? Is a pipe, a hose, and a duct the same thing for you? Please community, you must feel the same way; Or am I the only one who searches with specific terms? Please make some noise with me, otherwise nothing will happen!

Why are there no longer any internal 5.25" Blu-ray burners on Digitec... are they no longer being produced...?

I would like Galaxus to clearly indicate for every product which supplier the offer comes from. I deliberately do NOT want to buy from certain external suppliers. As a customer, I should be able to make this decision before I place an order! The current reason for this: I cancelled an order about ten minutes after placing it on Sunday. The cancellation request was automatically forwarded to the supplier on Sunday. However, it was only processed and rejected on Monday. Rejecting a cancellation even though the entire request was only processed on the next working day is, from a customer-friendly perspective, quite questionable. If Galaxus integrates external suppliers into its own range, it should also be transparent who is actually behind the sale. I think this information would also be of interest to other customers who want to make a conscious decision about who they buy from.

Hello Galaxus, Will the Topping audio interfaces be available in your range at some point? The E1X2 and E2X2? In my opinion, they are the best for under 150 to 250, and I cannot recommend them due to their availability. Hello everyone, I would like to book the 10 Gbit/s fiber optic internet subscription (CHF 39.–/month) from Galaxus. At my place (Reinach BL), fiber optic is available up to the building. However, I only have a telephone socket (copper) in my apartment; there is no fiber optic socket. I work with an iMac Pro (Intel) that has a 10 Gbit/s Ethernet port, and I use LAN cables exclusively. Wi-Fi is secondary for me. My questions: Can I book the Galaxus 10 Gbit/s plan if there is only a telephone socket in the apartment, or is fiber to the home (FTTH) mandatory? Who is responsible for running the fiber from the building to the apartment (Swisscom, owner, property management), and what does it cost? Does Galaxus cover any of this, or just the connection? If no modifications are made: What speed is realistic over the existing telephone line? If the fiber is installed in the apartment: Can I connect the iMac Pro directly to the Galaxus router (Zyxel) and use the 10 Gbit/s via LAN? What cable do I need for this (Cat6a or better)? Thanks for your experiences and tips!

It is not possible to make an enquiry about an item that has not yet been delivered (order 158239705...) at Digitec Winterthur by telephone or e-mail. There is no telephone number or e-mail available to customers. This is a pity. I am now forced to physically travel to Winterthur next week to clarify the matter on site. This is not good customer service. I feel cold as a customer.

Hello everyone, I bought an Epson printer (XP-6100) in January 2022. For the past 2-3 months, I have been getting error messages stating that the Intel-based printer is no longer supported on Apple M-series chips (I have an iMac). Among other things, I can no longer scan via Wi-Fi. If I buy a new 2026 model printer now, will the problem be resolved? (I would prefer another Epson, as they are compact.) **WARNING REGARDING WINDOWS ARM COMPATIBILITY ISSUES – MY EXPERIENCE WITH MICROSOFT SURFACE PRO X** I purchased my Microsoft Surface Pro X with a Microsoft SQ1 processor directly from Microsoft. Although the device works with Windows 11, I had to discover that important Windows applications are not supported. **Examples from my own experience:** - Amazon Kindle: The current Kindle app cannot be installed. Not all of my purchased books can be read via the browser. - G DATA VPN: The software also does not support the ARM architecture of my Surface. As a customer, I am disappointed that a Windows device has such limitations. What bothers me most is that the problems only become truly apparent when using certain programs. My personal conclusion: I will not buy any more Microsoft hardware in the future. **My advice to anyone interested in buying:** Definitely pay attention to the installed processor! Windows 11 on ARM is not compatible with every classic Windows application. Check your required software carefully before purchasing. I am publishing this review so that other buyers are aware of these limitations before they decide on a device.

Is there actually any chance that Digitec will eventually offer "real" split keyboards, such as the Corne, Silakka54, Cheapino, Sofle, Ferris Sweep, TOTEM (all open-source variants), or those from companies like ZSA (Voyager, etc.)? Unfortunately, the ZSA split keyboards are a bit pricey, and for the open-source variants, besides the shops in China, there are also some online shops in Germany or England... but it would be cool to have an option here in Switzerland as well. Well, I have unfortunately already fallen down this so-called rabbit hole... and it's not easy to get out of it again because the topic is just way too exciting and the possibilities are almost endless. Once you've gotten used to such a keyboard, you really wonder why row-staggered layouts are still the standard and why keyboards with column-staggered layouts aren't offered as an alternative by the larger manufacturers. Apart from that, why is the QWERTZ or QWERTY layout still the standard? There are so many better layouts that allow you to type much faster after a bit of practice (for example, with an adapted Colemak DH layout or the Neo layout). Kevin Hofer should take a look at this – it fits perfectly into his area of expertise. ;) I know, I know... the market is probably not ready for something like this, or not yet, or simply way too small, but I just wanted to throw it out there – purely out of personal interest. :sweat_smile: But it would certainly be worth an exciting report on the topic.
