Upcycling - turning old into new

This large shopping bag made from recycled fish food sacks offers plenty of storage space for your purchases. Enjoy extended shopping trips with it. A waterproof black fabric is sewn into the inside of the bag. In addition to the main compartment, there are three smaller compartments on the inside: two open pockets and one with a zip, featuring our stylish "Upcycling by Bekos" patch on top. The bag can be closed with a zip. Thanks to the practical, very soft carrying handles made of raw cotton, the bag is also very easy to carry on the shoulder.

The material made from recycled sacks is very hard-wearing, waterproof, and durable. The colors printed on the bags will show signs of wear over time, depending on use. These are normal signs of use and are not a reason for complaint. Each product is handmade and therefore unique. The appearance and texture of the material may vary slightly.

You too can help to reduce waste and at the same time do something good for nature, as well as for the disadvantaged society in Cambodia.

All our products made from cement bags, rice/fish feed bags, and vehicle tires are produced under the FairTrade seal in strict compliance with the 10 Commandments. This project is certified by the World Fair Trade Organisation and awarded by UNESCO. All accessories are designed by the villagers themselves and lovingly made by hand. Each one is unique, and the material cut-outs can vary in design, as the bags are completely processed. The material with the fish motif was first a fish food sack and in its second life a rice sack before it was made into these fine accessories.
