Upcycling - Turning old into new

This large shopping bag made from recycled fish food bags offers plenty of storage space for your purchases, making it perfect for extended shopping trips. Inside, the bag features a waterproof black fabric lining. In addition to the main compartment, there are three smaller compartments: two open slip pockets and one zippered pocket, adorned with our chic "Upcycling by Bekos" patch. The bag can be securely closed with a zipper. Thanks to the practical, very soft carrying handles made of raw cotton, it is easy to carry on your shoulder.

The material made from recycled bags is durable, waterproof, and long-lasting. The printed colors of the bags may show wear over time, depending on use. These are normal signs of use and do not indicate a defect. Each product is handmade, making it unique, and the look and texture of the material may vary slightly. The differences between this bag and the photo are minimal, so the design is not selectable and will be delivered based on availability.

All our products made from cement bags, rice and fish food bags, and vehicle tires are produced under the FairTrade seal, in strict compliance with the 10 Commandments. This project is certified by the World Fair Trade Organisation and has been awarded by UNESCO. All accessories are designed by the villagers themselves and lovingly handmade, making each one unique. The material cut-outs may vary in design, as the bags are fully processed. The material featuring the fish motif was originally a fish food sack and later transformed into a rice sack before being crafted into these elegant accessories.
