Upcycling - turning old into new

This large shopping bag made from recycled fish food bags offers plenty of storage space for your purchases, making it perfect for extended shopping trips. Inside the bag is a waterproof black fabric. In addition to the main compartment, it features three smaller compartments: two open slip pockets and one zippered pocket, adorned with our chic "Upcycling by Bekos" patch above. The bag can be securely closed with a zipper. Thanks to the practical, very soft carrying handles made of raw cotton, it is easy to carry on the shoulder.

The material made from recycled bags is durable, waterproof, and long-lasting. The printed colors of the bags may show wear over time, depending on use. These are normal signs of use and are not considered defects. Each product is handmade and therefore unique, so the appearance and texture of the material may vary slightly.

All our products made from cement bags, rice or fish feed bags, and vehicle tires are produced under the FairTrade seal in strict compliance with the 10 Commandments. This project is certified by the World Fair Trade Organisation and awarded by UNESCO. All accessories are designed by the villagers themselves and lovingly handmade, with each one being unique. The material cut-outs can vary in design because the bags are completely processed. The material with the fish motif was originally a fish food sack and later transformed into a rice sack before being crafted into these elegant accessories.
