Tropical Mountains Capitano

Directly from the coffee farmers: Discover the medium-dark roasted coffee blend Capitano in home-compostable coffee capsules for the Nespresso system. The blend includes Peruvian organic Arabica and organic Robusta coffees, as well as Colombian organic Arabica, all sourced through direct fair trade and traditionally roasted gently in Switzerland. Capitano impresses coffee gourmets with notes of grapefruit, dark chocolate, and nuts. With its full-bodied character, it is suitable for all espresso preparations. Like all coffee capsules from Tropical Mountains, Capitano is produced climate-neutral, Fair Trade, and certified organic, and packaged without aluminum. Tropical Mountains offers organically produced coffee from the family farm of the Peruvian-Swiss couple Gisella Iriarte and Thomas Schwegler, as well as from farmers in the same growing region. Coffees from around the world complement the range, all meeting the Schwegler's standards: organic cultivation, climate neutrality from the coffee plant to the finished cup, direct fair trade, and a specialty coffee rating from the Specialty Coffee Association with at least 80 points.
