Alvi’s Drift Signature Shiraz

The grapes are hand-harvested in the cool early morning hours to optimize quality. After crushing, the grapes are transferred to rotofermenters, where they ferment for about seven days. The juice is separated from the skins to enhance the color and flavor intensity of the wine. The wine then matures in American oak to round out its fruitiness.

This wine is a medium ruby red and possesses intense and rich aromas of ripe dark fruit, with hints of plum, pepper, spicy notes, and sweet vanilla. Quite palatable, it offers a fresh acidity perfectly integrated with the fruit and a moderate tannin content, giving it a subtlety and elegance rarely found in New World wines.
