Alvi’s Drift Signature Pinotage

The grapes are harvested in the early morning hours to bring them to the winery as cool and fresh as possible. After crushing, the grapes are transferred to tanks where they ferment for about seven days. To enhance the wine's color and flavor intensity, the juice is separated from the skins. Before bottling, the wine is aged for up to eight months in American oak.

The wine has a medium-deep ruby red color with violet hues at the edges of the glass. The bouquet and palate are dominated by juicy, ripe black cherries and plums, with a hint of tea leaves and sweet vanilla. The tannin structure is well-balanced with delicate notes of berry fruits and vanilla that continue on the palate.
